Guided Reading #2: Selecting and Planning a Lesson Focus





The strengths and needs of the students in the small group determine the focus for the guided reading lesson as well as the selection f the text used for the lesson. Participants will learn how to select a lesson focus that is targeted to the group's needs and what to consider when selecting books that support students' use of reading skills and strategies.
