Using Think Alouds to Help Develop Reading Comprehension, Grades 1-5 (VIRTUAL)





In this session, we will analyze what a think aloud is and how it can help students to become better critical thinkers by using a three-step process. Participants will have the opportunity to practice this skill and leave with immediate tools to allow students to be guided through cognitive processes that help develop reading comprehension.

Important Session Information:



This session is a virtual instructor-led training. You will first need to register through Region 4 at http://www.esc4.net/. Only those who registered will be provided the online link to participate in the live zoom session, August 14, 2020 from 1:00pm. - 2:30pm. The link will be provided the day before the training. The presenter will email each participant with more information a week before the session.
