Acceleration Series: Using Paired Reading Structures to Accelerate Reading Growth (Virtual)





Participants will explore several structures that leverage the paired-reading dynamic to promote general comprehension, increase inferential thinking, and bolster critical stances towards literature. We will also examine guidelines and strategies to promote dialogical, student-to student discussions, as well as techniques to extend critical thinking through extended written responses. Collectively, these approaches will harness and build on the diversity of reading strengths your students offer.
