PBIS Tier 1 Team Training-Virtual is an asynchronous/synchronous blended virtual training of the 10 critical Elements of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) split into 3 sections with virtual coaching/feedback follow-up sessions. This training is not appropriate for individuals without teams. The entire team must attend all 3 virtual coaching/feedback sessions.
Campus teams will view prerecorded sessions on each of the 10 critical elements of Tier 1 PBIS implementation and begin/complete the elements for each section before the scheduled coaching/feedback follow-up Zoom session with consultant and other cohort teams. Work product will be shared during the Zoom sessions. Questions, concerns, problem-solving will occur during coaching/feedback sessions. Each team will utilize the Benchmarks of Quality (BOQ), the fidelity assessment of Tier 1 implementation, to measure current work and progress, then develop an action plan for each critical element to prioritize this year's work and guide implementation for sustainability. Teams will also receive a participant manual and supporting resources.
TEAM Registration Process:
- Register to the WAIT LIST.
- Consultant will email you the PBIS Tier 1 Team Profile form to complete & return to Shelley Garza-Clark at shelley.garzaclark@esc4.net.
- Ensure all team members are registered to wait list.
- Submit payment form for team. Registration cost is per team, not individual.
- Teams will be moved into the session and link to first section of critical elements sent.
- Teams view all session links sent & utilize participant manual, begin/complete critical element work, BOQ assessment & action plan document for each critical element viewed, & resource documents.
- Teams attend the virtual follow-up coaching/feedback session with consultant & receive the links to the next set of critical elements.
- Repeat steps 6-7 for next 2 sessions.
