The Handle with Care Program employs a system of communication between law enforcement, schools, and clinicians to provide best-practice, trauma- and grief-informed care and mitigate negative effects of potentially traumatic events on children. This program is grounded in the fact that trauma- and grief-informed care is most successful if we can meet children where they are - in their schools and community - and provide timely and effective behavioral health interventions.
Session and material costs partially funded through Federal or State grants.
