You have passed your ESL exam, now what? 

Are you ready to take your instruction to the next level? 

Sheltered Instruction is a targeted approach to teaching and making content comprehensible for Emergent Bilinguals (English Learners) as they develop language proficiency. 

This training will focus on the importance of Krashen's theory of Second Language Acquisition, Proficiency Level Descriptors, and English Proficiency standards. In addition, this session will include practical strategies for maximizing student instruction.
