APE and PE Teachers Teaming for Student Success

Adapted Physical Education (APE) and General Physical Education (GPE) teachers will come together to collaborate in the development of a coordinated individualized program for their students with disabilities. APE, GPE and other members of the IEP team will develop shared learning goals that align with the general curriculum and support students with disabilities in meeting their Adapted Physical Education goals. This is a unique opportunity for teachers working in the same school district to establish collaborative teaming aimed at benefiting all students. Each registered APE teacher can bring a partner GPE teacher at no charge or vice versa. Just register one and bring your counterpart. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state and federal grants.
