This training is available for campus teams or future Tier 1 Team trainers only. Please complete the linked form for the campus (1 form per team) or trainer profile (1 form per trainer).
This training is for campus teams made up of 5-7 members representative of the campus stakeholders. Teams must include an administrator, special educator, counselor, and general educators across most grades/subjects. Consider representation from other roles on the campus, such as LSSP, police, elective courses, additional staff (i.e. custodial or lunch staff), who would be appropriate to include within the team. The entire team must attend all 3 days and the entire session each day.
Campus teams will engage in activities that support the ten critical elements for Tier 1 Schoolwide Systems implementation. Teams will begin work on each of the critical elements. Completion of a baseline Benchmarks of Quality (BOQ) assessment for Tier 1 implementation of MTSS-Behavior framework. An action plan for addressing implementation needs based on assessment will also be completed. This training will focus on exemplar practices for creating sustainable multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) at the campus level.
To attend this course as a campus team:
- Complete the Tier 1 Team Profile (1 per team).
- Administrator for teams may register and pay for the team.
- Once the profile and team payment is received the remaining team members will be issued a promo code to register.
- Incomplete teams or missing Tier 1 Team Profiles will result in removal from the course.
Trainer Prerequisite:
This course is also a pre-requisite for district/charter trainers who will be training campus teams within their own districts/charters with district approval. Individual trainers may attend without a team. This course is not permitted for trainers outside of districts/charters and may not be trained to campuses for monetary gain with Region 4 ESC materials or distributed to others.
