Functional Braille for Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists (COMS)





Imagine you are the COMS on an O&M lesson, are you sure that the braille sign on the side of that door actually says "WOMEN" and not "ELEVATOR"? This will be an interactive session that will provide a functional glimpse into the fun world of coded dots, called braille. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state and federal grants.

Important Session Information:



All participants need to bring a Perkins Brailler to create a "braille cheat booklet".
