Evaluating Girls Suspected of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD): Implications, Services, & Supports





This full-day workshop will provide evaluation personnel and those working with students with autism spectrum disorders information on similarities and differences in the presentation of ASD in male and female students, how to select appropriate evaluation instruments, conducting meaningful observations, and engaging in effective parent, teacher, and student interviews as part of the evaluation. In addition, how to write a written report integrating findings from multiple sources of data that links recommendations to evidence-based interventions, services, and supports for girls with autism spectrum disorders will be shared.
