Student Code of Conduct: A Guide and Template for District Leaders
District Teams

As the Texas Legislature continues redefining school discipline, LEAs must keep up with policy changes. This session will introduce a new tool to meet the changes in legislation while incorporating best practices for students and families to increase equitable and preventative school frameworks that outlast inevitable policy changes. In this session, participants will review their current student code of conduct for revision to demonstrate a systematic approach to implementing positive and proactive discipline practices. Participants should join as teams of at least three and bring their student code of conduct to participate in discussion and activities.
