Nature and Needs of Gifted/Talented Students - Online





Gain a deep understanding of the benefits and challenges facing gifted students. Examine and analyze the history of gifted education, legal requirements, and service design options for the education of gifted and talented students.  Explore and understand the various developmental differences, characteristics, behaviors, and needs of gifted/talented learners through research-based, hands-on activities.  This is a self-paced course.

This online course is open from January 31 through April 24, 2024. Registration will not be accepted after April 17 to allow sufficient course completion time. Please note that there is no partial credit or extension for course completion. If paying by purchase order, enrollment in Canvas will not occur until Region 4 receives a physical copy of the purchase order.
