Systems for Creating a Strong School Culture (Virtual)

A strong schoolwide culture that fosters a safe learning environment for students and staff members goes beyond motivational speeches, rewards, and displayed statements of values. That culture is formed by the repeated practice of effective habits, consistent and aligned adult behaviors, and a shared vision of what a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture looks like minute-by-minute. In this training, leaders will identify and plan for the systems necessary to ensure that their schoolwide culture vision comes to life through the everyday actions of all staff and students. Leaders will be guided through a process of reflection and planning culminating in a plan for at least one culture-related system.
