The Pyramid Model Preschool Module TOT is for participants who are familiar with the Pyramid Model 6-part series and have conducted training events using the Preschool Modules. The presenter will provide a general overview of the content in the updated Pyramid Preschool Modules, highlighting key changes in content, terminology, and activities. The 6-session reviewed will be Nurturing and Responsive Relationships, High-Quality and Supportive Environments, Social Emotional Development, Individualization of Intervention Addressing Challenging Behavior, and an Overview of Prevent-Teach-Reinforce for Young Children.
Objectives:
- Describe the basic components of training on the Pyramid Model Preschool Modules for Promoting Social-Emotional Development.
- Become familiar with presenting/training on the teachings and practices in each module and how they relate to social-emotional development for preschoolers.
- Learn ways to help participant learn how to embed social-emotional teaching throughout the day to foster the development of needed skills.
