Student Agency is Course 3 in a series of 5 micro-courses on the implementing blended learning. This course assumes you have already taken our introduction to blended learning course "Foundations of Blended Learning : Packing for the Journey". In it, we introduced the blended learning framework as well as explored the various classroom models for setting up blended learning in your classroom. If you've missed Foundations of Blended Learning: Packing for the Journey you can find it on our Events page. This micro-course builds on that work by solely focusing on Pillar 3 of the Blended Learning implementation continuum - Student Agency.In this course, we will address the following 3 learning objectives:
(1) Explore research and come to a shared understanding of student agency.
(2) Increase understanding of the student agency strategies in the Raising Blended Learners Implementation Continuum.
(3) Make plans for promoting student agency in blended classrooms.
