Relationships is Course 4 in a series of 5 micro-courses on the implementing blended learning. This course assumes you have already taken our introduction to blended learning course "Foundations of Blended Learning : Packing for the Journey". In it, we introduced the blended learning framework as well as explored the various classroom models for setting up blended learning in your classroom. If you've missed Foundations of Blended Learning: Packing for the Journey you can find it on our Events page. This micro-course builds on that work by solely focusing on Pillar 4 of the Blended Learning implementation continuum -Relationships. In this course, we will address the following 4 learning objectives:
(1) Participants will take a deep dive into "Relationships," a core pillar of the RBL Implementation Continuum (RBL-IC). The learning experience will address the following learning objectives:
(2) Reflect on research about the positive impact of teacher-student relationships on a wide range of educational outcomes.
(3) Understand what matters most about relationships between teachers and students, and amongst student peers.
(4) Reflect on strategies for building a “belonging” classroom culture.
