T-SCESS Overview

Texas Education Code 33.005 (2019) states that school counselors must “plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive school counseling program [CSCP] that conforms to the most recent edition of The Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs”. This presentation will guide participants through an overview of the Texas Model Guide. Participants will gain an understanding of the content of the Texas Model Guide, as well as steps to plan, implement and evaluate a CSCP. The afternoon session will have a planning activity where participants can work through a CSCP checklist to help plan or revise their own CSCP.
