Explore the three dimensions of science education outlined in A Framework for K-12 Science Education: Scientific and engineering practices, crosscutting concepts, and disciplinary core ideas (National Research Council). Examine the instructional implications of scientific and engineering practices (SEPs)and recurring themes and concepts (RTCs) in the science TEKS. Discuss resources and strategies to support the shift to three-dimensional sensemaking in science.
