Paraprofessionals will gain general knowledge in the area of special education and qualifying disabilities under IDEA 2004. In addition, they will gain knowledge and better understanding of their roles and responsibilities in the classroom setting as it pertains to working with preschool students with disabilities, and with their classroom teacher.
