This session is offered to meet the requirement pursuant to 19 TAC §61.1(b)(4) that school district trustees complete at least three hours of training every two years on evaluating student academic performance. Participants will gain knowledge on the governance role in establishing effective student outcome goals, monitoring student outcome progress, and the role of state assessment and accountability systems. Note: This training is intended for school district trustees and superintendents and does not meet the requirements for charter school board training.
