Region 4 RDSPD: Audiology Professional Learning Community





Participate in a professional learning community that is designed around the unique roles and responsibilities of educational audiologists in the Region 4 RDSPD. Review national and state guidelines for meeting the auditory access needs of students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind. Explore strategies for serving students with a wide range of hearing loss, including minimal-mild-unilateral-hearing loss and single-sided deafness. Review key concepts relating to ethical, moral, and legal issues. Discuss dilemmas as they relate to ethical and professional responsibility. Session and material costs are partially funded by state and federal grants.
