Both phonological awareness and phonics instruction are key elements of building reading comprehension. It is important to recognize the differences between these two components and, also, how these components support one another. This session will provide an informational overview of phonological awareness and phonics and provide easy to implement tools for supporting students in the classroom with both of these critical foundational literacy skills..
