"Intro to Motivational Interviewing/Screening and Intervention for
Substance Use (Teen Intervene)" is a training program tailored for
educators and counselors to equip them with the skills needed to
effectively address substance use among teenagers. Participants
learn about motivational interviewing techniques aimed at helping
adolescents explore and resolve ambivalence about their
substance use. The training also covers screening tools and
intervention strategies to identify and support students who may be
struggling with substance abuse issues. By providing educators
and counselors with these valuable skills, the program aims to
empower them to engage students in constructive conversations
and facilitate positive behavior change surrounding substance use.
