Gifted/Talented 30-Hour Foundational Online Course (including Depth and Complexity)





This online professional learning opportunity fulfills the 30-hour teacher requirement outlined in the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students.  The course includes the following G/T components –

  • Nature and Needs of Gifted/Talented Students
  • Identification and Assessment of Gifted/Talented Students
  • G/T Curriculum and Instruction: Models of Differentiated Instruction
  • G/T Curriculum and Instruction: Creative and Critical Thinking
  • G/T Curriculum and Instruction: Engaging Gifted Students by Adding Depth and Complexity
This is a self-paced online course. Participants will be automatically enrolled in Region 4's Canvas LMS.
