Review the definition of giftedness according to the state of Texas and understand how the Texas State Plan for Educating Gifted and Talented Students guides the process for the identification of students for gifted services.  Examine the gifted and talented identification process including information about assessment options and uncovering important considerations for the identification of culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse (CLED) students to ensure all gifted students are identified.  This is a self-paced, online course.
