Creating and Adapting Assistive Technology and Educational Resources
February Open Makerspace

Join us for our monthly Create & Adapt Makers Time in the Region 4 Adapted Materials Makerspace. This is a come and go time where you can design and produce customized materials tailored to your students' unique needs. Whether you’re crafting visuals, creating classroom items, or adapting assistive technology, this hands-on session offers the tools and resources to bring your ideas to life.

During this time, you’ll have access to our 3D printer, Glowforge, Cricut, laminator, colored printer, and lab laptops equipped with all the creative software you need including Boardmaker and Symbolstix. We will provide all the craft materials and supplies necessary for adapting assistive technology and creating personalized resources. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to material adaptation, this is the perfect opportunity to collaborate, share ideas, and produce high-quality, individualized supports to enhance your students' learning experience. Session costs and materials partially funded by state or federal grants.
