Day 1: Introduction to Conscious Discipline and the School Family
In this one-day introductory training, the participants will explore the Conscious Discipline Brain State Model and how it can help adults decode children's behavior and respond effectively to their needs. The participants will explore the "adult mindset shift" that is required to learn to respond to daily conflict in a way that transforms it into an opportunity to teach critical life skills using the components of safety, connection, and problem solving in the classroom, as they create a School Family. This session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants. You must be in attendance to receive the session materials.
Day 2 and Day 3: The Foundations of Safety and Connection in Brain Integration and Healthy Development
In this two-day Conscious Discipline training, the participants will examine the foundational building blocks of safety and connection in healthy brain development. A healthy, integrated brain is wired for learning and problem solving. The participants will explore the "why and how" to integrate the brain for success with safety and connection through the Conscious Discipline Powers and Skills.
