This session will provide participants with the opportunity to explore state program resources along with a fundamental overview of best practices in Bilingual/ESL classrooms. Participants will take a deep dive into the components of bilingualism, authentic biliteracy, and multicultural competence across content areas for their emergent bilingual students learning in English and a partner language. This session is for instructional paraprofessionals who are actively teaching or supporting teachers of emergent bilingual students.
