Trainings: Session Detail

Creating Supportive Environments for Early Learners with Autism

More and more young children are being diagnosed with Autism. While some may be served in special education classrooms, the majority are educated in inclusive settings within general education PreK and Kindergarten classrooms. How can we best support the needs of these young learners and start them on a solid educational path in our Early Childhood Classrooms?

Join us as we explore Autism Spectrum Disorders and their impact on the education of young children. Discover effective strategies to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters growth and development for all students, including play-based learning, communication supports, and sensory strategies.
