Trainings: Session Detail

G/T Online: Foundations of Gifted Education

In this course, you will learn how we defined giftedness and served gifted students in the past, and how that past has shaped our present legal and conceptual understandings of giftedness. You will contribute ideas to the discussion board, share your own experiences, and research related information. You will take a 10-question test at the end of the course. This course is aligned to the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students and meets state requirements for 6 hours of G/T credit.

Important Workshop Information:

For districts participating in the Advanced Academic (GT) contract, the charge will be removed at checkout.

This is a self-paced online session through the Canvas Instructure System.

This course ends on December 6, 2024. To receive credit for the fall 2024 semester, you must complete all work by this date.

Remaining students must register for the winter/spring 2025 session, which runs from December 6 to May 25. Please note that you will have to restart all the classwork, and your previous work will be archived.
