Elevate Science: Mastering the New TEKS
#5 in the Series: Sun, Earth, Moon, and Ecosystems (4th Grade)




This dynamic series is designed to empower kindergarten through 5th-grade science educators with advanced skills in implementing the new TEKS standards. Participants will focus on effective instructional strategies, curriculum alignment, assessment practices, and integrating technology in science education. Emphasizing inquiry-based learning, STEM integration, and critical thinking development, this series includes hands-on workshops, expert-led seminars, and collaborative sessions to prepare educators for engaging students in meaningful scientific exploration.

Important Workshop Information:


Dive into the 4th-grade science curriculum via a one-hour Zoom session on the Sun, Earth, Moon, and ecosystems in the fifth session of our six-part Zoom series. Aligned with new TEKS standards and focusing on the fifth six weeks in the Year at a Glance (YAG), explore effective instructional strategies, curriculum alignment, assessment practices, and the integration of technology. Anyone is welcome to join at any point in the series. Through inquiry-based learning and hands-on investigations, educators will empower students to develop a thorough understanding of organisms and their environments.
