GT Online: Taking Care of the Needs for your ELL Gifted Students




This online course will identify the characteristics of ELL gifted students, analyze curriculum and instructional strategies for gifted English learners, and synthesize and apply new learning to the development of educational resources. This course is aligned to the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students and meets state requirements for 6 hours of G/T update hour credit. As you progress through this course, you will complete discussions, quizzes, and assignments. After completion, your assignments will be graded. You must score at least 70% to receive credit.

This is a self-paced online session through the Canvas Instructure System.

Important Dates & Info:

The course ends on May 31, 2025. Complete all work by this date to receive credit for the Spring 2025 semester. Unfinished students must register for the Summer 2025 session, running from May 31 to September 1. You will need to restart all coursework, as previous work will be archived.
