Science Academies for Grades K-4 Science - Physics




The goal of this initiative is to improve the overall instruction and achievement of science classrooms in order to meet and/or exceed grade-level standards and ensure post-secondary readiness. This training will familiarize participants with the new science Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) while strengthening their knowledge of the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS). This training will also provide an opportunity for participants to garner professional support from other educators through shared resources and ongoing academic networking.
