TEXAS SCHOOLS ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING UPDATE – 2013




This year’s “Update…” seminar covers many new topics: TEA is changing the FASRG, auditors must implement the Clarity Project this year, GASB Statements 63 and 65 provide for major changes in the reporting format and content for governmental entities (including Texas Schools), the Texas Legislature is meeting. The GAO and OMB have significant modifications that must be implemented for this year’s annual report.
