Project Share-TALA Tiers II/III Online Adolescent Literacy Academy v1.0




This online professional development course is designed to enhance teachers’ knowledge and skills so they can effectively teach adolescent students who struggle with reading. The strategies presented in the course promote the implementation of effective reading instruction for all students as well as intensive intervention activities for struggling readers. Participants receive instruction on how to administer the Texas Middle School Fluency Assessment (TMSFA), how to interpret results, and how to provide individualized reading instruction based on those results. CPE credit is 9 hours.
