2016 WOWW conference with Kaye Price Hawkins




Window On a Wider World (WOWW) is offering a professional development opportunity for K-5 educators at Region 16 ESC. WOWW’s partner organizations will provide mini-presentations of their enriched programs that tie the curriculum with TEKS objectives in a theatre style program setting from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. in lecture hall. From 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Kaye Price-Hawkins, our friend from Abilene and outstanding author, teacher, adjunct instructor, consultant, and language arts specialist will be the key-note speaker. She will focus on the expository writing assessment utilizing ‘artforms’ as integration in writing for children.
