This workshop is the face to face version of the Autism 101 on-line training offered by the Texas Statewide Leadership for Autism. The goal of this training is to provide information on basic components of autism spectrum disorders. Participants will be able to define the characteristics of autism spectrum disorders and become familiar with research-based strategies to address the behavioral, social and communication needs of these individuals.
