2017 WOWW Conference




Window On a Wider World (WOWW) is offering a professional development opportunity for K-5 educators at Region 16 ESC. WOWW’s partner organizations will provide mini-presentations of their enriched programs that tie the curriculum with TEKS objectives in a theatre style program setting from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. in lecture hall from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. WOWW will focus on resident author Josie Hudson, Agalu theater program, resident artist Tom Panger, children’s author Gary Hogg’s writing workshop, and the WOWW Science Collaborative. Dr. Laurie Sharp, Assistant Professor of Dr. John G. O’Brien Distinguished Chair in Education at WTAMU will present the upcoming research/impact study of WOWW.
