Culturally Responsive Classwide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports Training




Classwide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports training was developed by Dr. Diane Myers and Brandi Simonsen to help teachers use specific practices that will allow them to create and maintain a positive, organized, and effective classroom environment within the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework. Classroom culture is an essential factor in the effectiveness of instruction and classroom management. Dr. Myers will discuss the role of culture in the classroom and strategies to increase cultural awareness to promote effective instruction.
