Functional Listening for Students with Auditory Impairments
Share
Participants will identify 3 types of functional listening assessment tools and practice using information from these tools to write functional listening IEP goals and objectives. Participants will discuss and practice use of strategies for maximizing auditory potential in a variety of intervention models. Participants will review current practice in use of hearing technology including hearing aids, cochlear implants, and FM systems.

This session has been approved for 5.50 hours of continuing education credit by the TSHA. TSHA approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures. Deaf educators will receive 7 hours CPE credit.
