Ethics for Interpreters Pre-K through Freelancers




More and more freelance interpreters are being called upon to work in K-12 environments as temporary and permanent interpreter "subs." The freelance interpreter must follow the Code for Professional Conduct along with other "school/law codes." This workshop will discuss the CPCs and those other "codes" in order to make sure that all interpreters both educational interpreters and freelance interpreters are able to make wise ethical decisions that protect themselves and their clients from Pre-K to the golden years.
