TxEIS 101 for Administrators




This training brings to light many of the features of TxEIS that assist administrators in obtaining needed information on students and teachers. Here is some of what the Administrators will learn about: Attendance Application – Find out which Auditable Reports to run and how to read them. Discipline Application – Learn how to enter discipline into the TxEIS system, understanding the impact of Chapter 37 Guidelines, running reports, and using the discipline referral system. TxGradebook and TxConnect (Parent Portal) – Learn how you as an administrator can enter into the gradebook or parent portal to review and analyze student and teacher data. PEIMS – Better understand your role in the PEIMS process and the importance of getting the data right. Grade Reporting – Gain a better understanding of all that takes place in the Grade Reporting application (report cards, transcripts, gpa/class rank, day to day teacher schedule changes and student schedule changes and more…)
