Trainings: Session Detail

Inferencing or Equity: ELAR 9-12

A student's ability to infer is directly related to background knowledge and access to vocabulary. Join us to learn about archiving and curation strategies to enrich a student's language-experiential reservoir. We will create an archive of texts, engage in quickwrites and lessons on theme, author's purpose, character traits, and author's craft. We'll also explore independent reading non-negotiables and strategies, curate a collection of texts, and how to use the reading notebook to participate in joyful, purposeful learning.
