Understanding and Supporting Executive Functioning Issues with Students
Share
Executive function is like the CEO of the brain. It’s in charge of making sure things get done from the planning stages of the job to the final deadline. When students have issues with executive functioning, any task that requires planning, organization, memory, time management and flexible thinking becomes a challenge. This workshop will explore the relationship between the brain and executive skills. We will discuss strategies that can be used in the classroom to strengthen organization, time management, planning and homework completion.
