Building a Strong Foundation for a GREAT YEAR in the Math and Science Classroom




Learner-Centered Classroom? What is that? What makes a classroom learner centered? I am overwhelmed...How can I do one more thing? Have these thoughts caused you stress? Most current teachers did NOT experience their education in a learner centered classroom. Don't be stressed if you are having a difficult time wrapping your head around this challenge. This workshop will look at classroom structures that must be in place for a classroom to be learner-centered and T-TESS approved. Topics covered: Protocols, Collaboration, Anchor Charts, Formative Assessments and Metacognition. Don't start another year behind the learner-centered curve. Leave the stress, old traditions, and blame at home and come look to a new way to teach content.

Important Workshop Information:


Part of this day will be spent creating visuals. If you have a favorite set of markers bring them. General supplies will be provided at Region. For districts who have the Instructional Support contract the $600 fee will be removed at checkout.
