New Migrant Coordinator Training
Share
If you have recently taken responsibility for the migrant program in your district, then this session will help to clarify your role and responsibility as a migrant coordinator. It seems at times like the migrant program is all about alphabet soup. We will explain the basics and help to make sense of the many different acronyms and the requirements for successfully running a migrant program. Our major topics will include an overview of the identification and recruitment requirements, data collection for the statewide database (NGS), Priority for Services (PFS) student requirements, coordination of services, fiscal guidelines, and documentation to keep your migrant program in compliance. This session is geared for new migrant coordinators, but more experienced migrant coordinators are welcome to attend for a refresher course.
