K-2 Balanced Literacy Boot Camp Day 4: Deeper with Writing




So many standards, so little time! How do I fit it all in? Understanding and embedding standards into our weekly components will help make this difficult challenge seem manageable. We will look closely at choosing appropriate standards for writing instruction through Writer’s Workshop and Interactive Writing. Our learning will include when and how to use mentor texts and our author’s craft standards for powerful Writer’s Workshop instruction. Come ready to brainstorm and share ideas for classroom implementation!
