Chemistry Halloween: Alkynes of Trouble




A little chemistry can add a lot of ghastly, ghostly effects to your Halloween celebration. Here's a look at some of the top activities you can apply in your Chemistry classroom during Halloween or really...anytime! The best part? Participants will explore ways to shock and awe their students, peers, and communities. Chemistry can be fun, engaging and still be aligned with the TEKS. Students will not quit talking about how fun Chemistry can be! While this session is based on high school Chemistry, all teachers of science can find a Halloween extension for the classroom.
