We Shall Overcome: Planning the Civil Rights Movement Using History Labs
Share
We all know MLK's "I Have A Dream" speech, but there is PLENTY more where that came from! The Civil Right Movement was an era rich in speeches, writing, photography, music, and other primary sources. Participants will plan out their unit by incorporating this richness into History Labs--activities that allow students to investigate the past through primary sources. Attendees will also learn how to use History Labs to prepare students for the STAAR exam. Join the movement today!
