The Write Stuff: Writing Algebraic Equations in Secondary Math

Do your students struggle with writing equations? Data from the fall Algebra 1 EOC exam indicates that our students need additional help. Join us as we dive deeper into the TEKS and look at previous EOC questions to identify common misconceptions. You will take away ready-to-go activities and effective instructional strategies for writing linear, quadratic, and exponential equations. This session isn't exclusive to Algebra 1 teachers. The misconceptions and strategies that we discuss can be implemented multiple grade levels.
